Can you imagine paying 80% less on your electricity and gas bills? Do you dream of having no heating and air conditioning costs? Thanks to renewables, with the Geosolar® House you can dodge energy price inflation. An energy-saving house for sale at the same price as traditional houses.
An efficient home is one that is able to reduce its energy consumption, but Index's Carbon Positive Geosolar® House goes much further. In addition to reducing consumption thanks to its geothermal system and underfloor heating, it is also an active house that generates its own energy thanks to the photovoltaic panels on its roof.
Thus, by producing more energy than it consumes, the Geosolar® House is a house capable of reducing energy bills by more than 80% compared to conventional homes. Savings that can be enjoyed from the first month because the house does not cost more for being efficient or sustainable.
Beyond the recommendations, advice and tips that are so fashionable in terms of good energy saving practices at home, the best saving is undoubtedly the investment in a truly efficient house. Our clients already know it first hand, Index houses save despite the rise of life due to inflation and the Geosolar® House is the best anti-inflation antidote.

Renewable energies: geothermal energy
The Index houses benefit from two renewable energies, that is to say, from sources that nature provides us with unlimited and free of charge. Renouncing homes that generate pollutant emissions in their maintenance and daily life, and cutting fossil fuels for heating such as gas, diesel, etc..
Geothermal energy is a renewable source that benefits from the constant temperature of the subsoil thanks to a heat exchange. Thus it manages to transfer the 19-20 degrees centigrade that we find all year round in the earth's crust to air-condition the inside of our home.
The saving in the consumption to air-condition our house is evidently much lower when we manage to benefit from about 20 degrees approximately. Since, to reach a comfortable temperature, we only need to air-condition a few degrees both in summer and winter, for example, to be at 22 degrees at home.

In comparison, geothermal energy is the most efficient system, because if our heat source were, for example, aerothermal, to air-condition the inside of our house, we would have to consume much more energy. With aerothermal energy we have to heat or cool the outside air which can be in winter for example at 2 degrees below zero, or in summer at 35 degrees easily in latitudes like Madrid.
Whereas, with geothermal energy, we start from a temperature of 20 degrees and only have to increase or decrease just a few degrees.
Active house: photovoltaic solar energy
Many homeowners when looking for a house do not know exactly how photovoltaic modules work, nor how the solar panels of a self-consumption house look like. However, all potential buyers of a new house want their home to be efficient and have solar panels on its roof.
Solar panels, as they are generically called, are actually photovoltaic panels or modules, i.e. with cells capable of producing electricity. And that must be distinguished from thermal panels that only serve to heat the DHW (domestic hot water) of the house.
Index's Carbon Positive Geosolar® House has photovoltaic panels on its roof that are capable of generating more energy than it consumes. Thus, all the electricity consumed in the house during daylight hours is met by its own generation, i.e., for self-consumption. And your utility bills are reduced to your nightly consumption.
